Wiley Copyright Permission Request Form
Frequently Asked Questions
Copyright is the exclusive legal right granted for a specified period to the creator of a work, or another appointed person, to print, publish, perform, film, or record literary, artistic, or musical material. Wiley holds the copyright in all of its publications and materials, both print and electronic.
Copyright protects the business interests of both Wiley and our Authorized Partners. Effective administration of all rights is the key to protecting the value of our intellectual property. Without the protection of copyright, anyone could make copies of any materials at any time without payment or consequences, and our interest as a publisher of original materials, the unique expression of our author’s ideas, and your business as an Authorized Partner would be jeopardized.
No. The response pages are central to our intellectual property, and are protected by copyright.

It depends. You will need to submit a Permissions Request Form to rights@EverythingDiSC.com. If approved, Rights will generate a Permissions Agreement between you and Wiley, including terms and conditions that will require the signature of both parties. Please submit all requests at least 30 days in advance of intended use.
Only Wiley, as the copyright owner, can develop a derivative product based on its copyrighted materials.
No. EPIC is a shared system that is accessible by all Authorized Partners and is not designed to be installed on a stand-alone basis on your client’s intranet. Access to EPIC is provided through a standard internet connection for both administration of EPIC system functions and completion of responses to generate a profile.
Part of the value of being an Authorized Partner is being affiliated with high-quality, user-friendly, research-based products. Our trademarks help us to build brand awareness, which will in turn help you to build your business.
Certain Wiley product names have already been registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. These are marked with the ® symbol. No, you may not. Translation rights are one of the exclusive rights protected by copyright laws, so you would need written permission from Wiley to do so. Wiley is currently in the process of translating many products into various languages.
